Enabling Different AI Alerts
This setting allows different AI alert types to be activated in the Agent application. AI profiles can be customized to trigger alerts and notifications, ensuring immediate responses to detected motion.
The Agent supports various AI alerts, which can be configured based on your security requirements. Below is a list of available alerts and the steps to set them up.
1. Configure Recording Settings
- Set the recording type and video quality for local backup (see Section 3.2.3).
2. Open the Agent Application
- Launch the Agent application from your desktop.
- Navigate to Settings and enable Edge AI.
- Open Device Management from the right panel.
- Expand All Devices, then DVR, and select the desired camera.
3. Configuring AI Profiles
Follow the steps below to set up AI profiles and customize alert settings based on your security requirements.
Step 1: Access Video Settings
- Navigate to the right panel and expand Video Settings.
- Select Recording and set it to AI.
Step 2: Configure Basic Profile
- Expand the Basic Profile and adjust the following settings:
Profile 1 Configuration
- Enable Profile 1 and set the start and end times.
- Once enabled, the following AI alerts will be available:
* Person Alert – Detects human presence in the monitored area.
* Unmanned Alert – Identifies unattended objects or vacant areas.
* Loitering Alert** – Detects individuals lingering in a specific zone.
* Unauthorized Parking Alert – Recognizes vehicles parked in restricted areas.
* Tamper Alert – Triggers if the camera is obstructed or tampered with. - Select the required alerts. For example, if Person Alert is enabled, set the reporting interval (e.g., 2 minutes).
- Expand Video Configuration and adjust the motion sensitivity as needed.
These settings ensure optimized security monitoring with automated alerts and real-time notifications.
