Set Different Type of Profile
Configuring AI profiles in the agent application enables customized automatic recording based on motion detection within a specific area and time frame. These profiles can also trigger alerts and notifications for real-time responses, enhancing security monitoring.
By fine-tuning these settings, you can optimize storage usage, minimize false alarms, and improve surveillance efficiency. Additionally, AI profiles can be scheduled for specific days or time slots, ensuring adaptability to varying security requirements. This flexibility allows for a more proactive approach to monitoring, enabling the system to identify unusual activities with greater accuracy.
1. Configure Recording Settings
- Set the recording type and video quality for local backup (refer to Section 3.2.3).
2. Open the Agent Application
- Launch the Agent Application from your desktop.
- Navigate to Settings and enable Edge AI.
- Open Device Management from the right panel.
- Expand All Devices, then DVR, and select the desired camera.
3. Configure AI Profiles
- Expand Video Settings in the right panel.
- Select Recording and set it to AI.
- Expand the Basic Profile and configure the following settings:
Profile 1:
- Enable it and set the start and end times.
- Expand Profile 1 and select the required alerts from the list. For example, enable Person Alert.
- If Person Alert is enabled, set the reporting interval (e.g., 2 minutes).
- Expand Video Configuration and adjust motion sensitivity as needed.
Profile 2:
- Enable it and set the start and end times.
- Expand Profile 2 and select the required alerts from the list. For example, enable Person Alert.
- If Person Alert is enabled, set the reporting interval (e.g., 2 minutes).
- Expand Video Configuration and adjust motion sensitivity accordingly.
Sunday Profile:
- If needed, enable this option and follow the same configuration steps as above.
