Configuring email reports in the DAC application ensures the automatic generation and delivery of daily visibility reports, maintaining consistent DVR IP accessibility. By detecting potential issues early, the system facilitates quicker troubleshooting and resolution. With real-time monitoring, it enhances reliability, minimizes downtime, and improves operational efficiency.

How to Configure Email Reports in the DAC Application

  1. Open the DAC application on your desktop.

  2. Navigate to the Settings menu.

  3. Under General Configuration, set the following:

    • Accessibility Check Interval
    • Start Time
    • Reporting Interval
  4. Scroll down and enable Email Reporting.

  5. Click Email Configuration, then enter the required details:
    DAC Mail Configuration:

    • SMTP Host: [Enter host details]
    • Port: [Enter port number]
    • Sender Email: [Enter sender’s email]
    • Password: [Enter password]
    • Attachments: Excel/PDF
    • Recipients: [Enter recipient email addresses (To & CC)]
  6. Click Authenticate to verify the settings.

  7. Click Save to apply the changes.
