Viewing Health
You can monitor the real-time health status of your agents through the SmartSurv portal dashboard. Along with DVR, HDD, and camera status, the portal also provides real-time visibility into local backup, cloud backup, log alerts, and DAC details.
Accessing the Health View
Follow these steps to check health status in the portal:

Log in to the SmartSurv Health Portal and select your group.

Click the Health icon from the left panel.

On the right side, review views such as Agent, DVR/NVR, HDD, and Camera Status.

The total count of agents, DVRs, HDDs, and cameras is displayed.

Any issues are clearly highlighted in red.

Click the Agent, DVR/NVR, HDD, or Camera icons to view detailed status reports and export data for analysis.
Health View – Table Headers and Filters
Navigate to DVR/NVR in the Health portal. The table displays the status of DVR/NVR devices across agents and regions, including time, disk, recording, and camera health, along with the latest communication status.

Use the Agent Filter to sort data by Healthy or Error.
- Selecting Error shows all offline agents.

Expanding an Error (Offline) agent displays:

DVR/NVR Filter

Options: All, Healthy, Error

Select Healthy or Error to filter devices accordingly.

Selecting All shows both healthy and error DVR/NVRs.
DVR/NVR Time Filter

Options: All, Healthy, Error
-
Filter devices based on DVR/NVR time errors or healthy status.

Selecting All displays all devices.
Disk Filter
-
Options: All, Error, Rec Issues
-
View only devices with Hard Disk Errors or Healthy disks.

Rec Issues shows DVRs that:

Are not recording to the hard disk, or
-
Have recordings for five days or less
-

This list can be exported for further review.
Rec Option
- Use this option to sort recordings.
Camera Filter

Filter cameras with errors.

Selecting All displays both cameras with and without errors.

- Sort devices based on the most recent status update.
