Viewing Health
You can monitor the real-time health status of your agent through the SmartSurv portal dashboard. In addition to DVR, HDD, and camera status, you can also track local backup, cloud backup, log alerts, and DAC details in real time. Accessing the Health View:
Follow these steps to check the health status in the portal:
- Log in to the SmartSurv Health portal and select your group.
- Click the Health icon in the left panel.
- On the right side, explore views such as Agent, DVR/NVR, HDD, and Camera Status. The total number of agents, DVRs, HDDs, and cameras is displayed, with issues clearly highlighted in red.
- Click on the Agent, DVR/NVR, HDD, or Camera icons to view a detailed status report and export the data for analysis. Health View of Table heads and filters:
- Click on DVR/NVR in the Health portal.
- The following table headers will be displayed:
- Agent
- Group/Region
- DVR/NVR
- DVR/NVR Time
- Disk
- Rec
- Camera
- Last Info
Filtering and Analyzing Status:
- Use the Filter icon to sort data by Health and Error.
- For example, selecting “Error” under the Agent Filter will display all agents that are offline.
- Expanding an Error Agent (Offline) entry shows:
- Downtime duration (how long the agent has been offline).
- Local Backup details (Calendar icon).
- Last Info details.
- History tab displaying the timeline of the agent’s health status (Online/Offline).

- Health Status: Agent Offline or Healthy
- DVR Time: [Time Recorded in DVR]
- Recording Days: [Number of Recorded Days]
- IP Address: [DVR IP Address]
- Last Info: [Last Recorded Status]
HDD Details
- Total Number of HDDs: [Number of HDDs in DVR]
- Total Storage Capacity: [Total HDD Size]
- Last Info: [Last Recorded Status]
Camera Details
- Total Number of Cameras: [Total Cameras Connected]
- Cameras with Errors: [Number of Cameras with Connection Issues]
- Healthy Cameras: [Number of Functional Cameras]
- Channel Number (CH): [E.g., 0,1,2… or 32,33,34…]
- Camera Name: [Camera Identifier]
- Status: [Healthy/Error]
- Duration: [Error or Recording Duration]
- Last Info: [Last Recorded Status]
- History: [Access to Historical Data]
- Video Playback: [Direct Access to Recorded Footage]
By following these steps, you can efficiently monitor and analyze the health status of all connected devices.
