Agent side configuration
The Smart Surveillance Agent side configuration allows users to modify DVR, HDD, and Camera settings or add a new DVR/NVR directly from the installed application.
Configuring DVR/NVR

Open the Smart Surveillance Agent application.

Navigate to the Device Management section.

Search for the desired DVR/NVR and select the device.

Go to the Configuration tab to update the following details:
* DVR Name * Router IP * IP Address * Username * Password * Port Numbers

If there is a DVR/NVR time issue, enable the Time Sync option. The DVR/NVR time will be synced with the system time. Ensure that the system time is always accurate.
Configuring Camera and HDD
- Expand the DVR/NVR list from the left-side menu.
- The list of Cameras and Hard Disks will be displayed.
- If there are empty channels or unused HDD slots, mark them as Not Connected by disabling the Connected option in the respective camera or HDD details. This prevents these devices from being flagged as errors in the Smart Surveillance Health Dashboard.
