Web based configuration

The web-based configuration allows users to modify DVR, HDD, and Camera settings or add a new DVR/NVR from any location. It serves as an alternative when access to the system where the Smart Surveillance Agent is installed is unavailable.

Accessing Configuration

  1. Log in to the Smart Surveillance Dashboard at smartsurv.conceptbytes.com.
  2. Click on Configuration from the left-side menu. A list of available configurations, including Agent, DVR/NVR, Hard Disk, and Camera, will be displayed along with the count of devices added.

DVR/NVR Configuration

  • Click on DVR/NVR to view the list of added devices.

  • Use the Search Devices tab to find a specific DVR/NVR.

  • Click the Expand Down icon to modify settings.

  • The following details can be updated:

    • DVR Name
    • Router IP
    • IP Address
    • Username
    • Password
    • Port Number
  • Click Save to apply changes.

  • To delete a DVR/NVR, use the Delete option within the same section.

  • To add a DVR/NVR, click on Add at the top-right corner, fill in the required details, and submit credentials to integrate the device into Smart Surveillance.

Additional DVR/NVR Details

  • Each DVR/NVR entry includes details such as Make, Model Number, and Firmware Version.
  • Click on Export to download an Excel file containing complete DVR/NVR details. Note: All configuration changes require Admin Login privileges.
