Region Configuration

The Region Configuration feature allows users to classify devices under specific regions within Smart Surveillance. This helps in organizing and filtering devices based on their assigned regions.

Steps to Configure Region:

  1. Log in to the Smart Surveillance Health Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Group Administration page under the Admin section.
  3. Go to the Region Configuration page.
  4. Click on the Export option at the bottom of the page to download an Excel file.
  5. Open the Excel file and add the desired Region Name corresponding to the Device Name listed.
  6. Save the Excel file without making any other changes.
  7. Return to the Region Configuration page and import the saved Excel file.
  8. The total number of entries will be displayed. If the count matches your data, click Commit.
  9. To verify the changes: * Go to the Health Dashboard. * Click Reload at the top-right corner. * Select DVR/NVR.
  10. A new Region column will appear in the table, allowing you to filter and display devices based on their assigned region.
