Cross Checking Device Issues in HMS vs DVR Page
DVR:

Offline-Not Reachable:
- Check if the DVR IP is accessible from the agent-installed PC.
- If the DVR is in a remote location, ensure that there is internet connectivity at that location.
- Verify that the DVR is working and powered on.
- Check if the DVR’s TCP/server port communication is open on the remote modem/router.

Router Ping Failed:
- Ping the router’s IP from the agent-installed PC to verify connectivity.
- Check if the internet is working at the remote location.
- Check if the VPN router is ON and working at the remote location.

Invalid User-Password:
- Ensure the correct username and password are used in the agent or portal for accessing the DVR.
- Check the number of online users in the DVR page. If the user count is too high, the DVR might not allow further logins due to limitations.
Camera:
- Error:
- Check if the camera is powered on and correctly connected to the designated channel of the DVR.
- Ensure the camera feed is functioning properly.
Hard Disk (HDD):
- Error:
- Verify if the HDD is operational and correctly connected to the DVR.
- Check for any error messages on the DVR indicating HDD failure or lack of space.
Recording Issues:
- Last Recording Days Missing:
- Check if today’s video recordings are available on the DVR’s hard disk.
