Troubleshooting DVR

  1. Verify the network and DDNS configuration first.

  2. For DVR/NVRs connected via DDNS:

  • Set the primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4.
  • Check the DDNS status. In some DVRs, the status may not be displayed. For such DVR/NVRs, ensure that the provided DDNS configuration details are correct.
  • If the DVR/NVR is connected using other methods and is showing offline, verify that the gateway and subnet settings are correct. If the issue persists, restart the DVR.
  1. If the VMS displays a “Connecting” message in live view, disable “Platform Access” and then re-enable it.
