Troubleshooting DVR

Verify the network and DDNS configuration first.

For DVR/NVRs connected via DDNS:
- Set the primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4.
- Check the DDNS status. In some DVRs, the status may not be displayed. For such DVR/NVRs, ensure that the provided DDNS configuration details are correct.
- If the DVR/NVR is connected using other methods and is showing offline, verify that the gateway and subnet settings are correct. If the issue persists, restart the DVR.
- If the VMS displays a “Connecting” message in live view, disable “Platform Access” and then re-enable it.
