Playback and download locally stored videos
The Agent app enables seamless monitoring and downloading of playback videos, ensuring quick access to recorded footage whenever needed. Its intuitive interface allows users to efficiently search for specific events using time, date, or motion detection filters. Additionally, the app supports exporting and sharing video clips for detailed analysis or evidence collection.
Follow the steps below to view and download playback footage.
- Open the Agent Application from the desktop.
- Click the Agent Settings icon on the right side of the application.
- In the Application Configuration menu, select Open Video from the options on the left.
- In the SmartSurv Player window that opens, expand Local Videos under Storage Folders on the left panel.
- Select and expand the Date Folder to access stored footage.
- Choose the DVR, expand it, and select the relevant camera.
- Double-click the Camera and then the Video option to display playback on the right panel.
- In the Playback section, set the Start Time and End Time, then click Play Video to monitor the footage.
- To download the video, click the Download button next to the playback controls.
