Reset Profile Password of Groups

Resetting a group profile password involves changing or recovering authentication credentials for a group account within a system, platform, or application. This process enhances security by preventing unauthorized access, recovering forgotten passwords, or enforcing periodic password updates.

Steps to Reset Group Profile Password in Smart Surveillance VMS:

  1. Open the Smart Surveillance VMS application.
  2. Navigate to Settings and select General.
  3. In the General window, expand Advanced Settings.
  4. Scroll down to locate the Set/Reset Profile Password option.
  5. Click on Set/Reset Profile Password to open the Save Password window.
  6. Enter and confirm the new password.
  7. Click Save Password to apply the changes.
