Telephony configurations

During live monitoring, there may be situations where urgent calls need to be made during emergency incidents. To facilitate this, the admin user in VMS can save up to six contacts, including their names and designations, for quick access in emergencies.

Steps to Save Contact Details in VMS:

  1. Go to Feature Selection under Settings and enable Telephony.
  2. Once enabled, open the Telephony Configuration tab under Settings.
  3. Click the Export button in the Telephony Configuration tab.
  4. An Excel file will be downloaded, where the admin can enter the names, designations, and phone numbers of up to six individuals.
  5. After filling in the details, click the Import button and select the updated Excel file.
  6. Log out and log back into VMS.
  7. Now, while live-viewing cameras, monitoring person can click the telephone icon to view the saved contact details for quick reference during emergencies.
