Advanced reports
Advanced reports are used to identify how many times the DVR has been viewed, how many times it should be watched, when it was watched, and provide an overall viewing summary.
If there are issues with DVR viewing or if the DVR view count is low, the user can add reasons for the issues or exceptions. These reasons or exceptions will be prefilled under Rational Reasons
How to Configure Advanced report
Only users with the ‘Admin Role’ can configure the Advanced Report:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Feature Selection.
- Enable Audit Report.
- Enable Camera Health Status in Report.
- Enable Advanced Report.
- Go to Reports.
- Select Advanced Reporting.
- Select Configuration.
- Update the priority of DVR/NVR between 1 and 10 in the configuration
- Select cameras that are part of Important Camera Set - 1 and Important Camera Set - 2 (The names of “Important Camera Sets” are also editable).
How to Configure Rational Reasons
Only users with the ‘Admin Role’ can configure the Rational Reasons
- Go to Settings.
- Find Rational Reasons.
- Select Add to add a new reason.
- Select Edit to modify an existing rational reason.
- Select Remove to delete an added rational reason.
How to Generate Advanced report
Only users with the Admin Role can configure or save these settings.
- Go to Reports.
- Select Advanced Reporting.
- Select Report Generation.
- Create pre-sets such as “Day Monitoring,” “Night Monitoring,” or “XYZ Monitoring.”
- For each pre-set, select what device for Full View and Partial View.
- Choose which reports need to be generated for each pre-set.
- Select View Categorization Count.
- Select the Date Range.
- Select Save Report.
- Find the location to save the report.
- The Rational Reasons Report window will open—select reasons if needed.
- Click Save.
How to Generate Advanced report for Normal Users
- Go to Reports.
- Select Advanced Reporting.
- Select Report Generation.
- Select the pre-sets (pre-created by the admin).
- Select the Date Range.
- Select Save Report.
- Find the location to save the report.
- The Rational Reasons Report window will open—select reasons if needed.
- Click Save.
