Performance Optimization of Live Videos
Optimizing live video performance involves applying advanced techniques to enhance video quality, speed, and efficiency. The objective is to deliver a smooth streaming experience with minimal buffering, lag, and latency while maintaining high visual fidelity.
Steps to Optimize Performance in Smart Surveillance VMS Performance:
- Open the Smart Surveillance VMS Performance application.
- Navigate to Settings and select General.
- In the General window, expand Advanced Settings.
- Scroll down to locate the Performance Optimization option.
- Choose from the available optimization modes:
- Best Performance – Prioritizes speed and efficiency.
- Balanced – Provides a mix of performance and quality.
- Best Quality – Maximizes video clarity at the cost of higher resource usage.
We prefer the Balanced setting. Select the mode that best suits your requirements to enhance live video performance effectively.
